Job Summary
Conduct personalized instruction and mentoring for students in the Snake River Opportunities School Alternative Program. Build strong relationships with at-risk students and develop individualized success plans while coordinating interventions with counselors, families, and administrators. Teach assigned core or elective courses using the mastery learning model, provide targeted tutoring, and monitor attendance and academic progress. Participate in MTSS meetings and House planning to remove barriers to graduation readiness. Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Idaho Teaching Certificate with appropriate endorsement for assigned grade level and/or content area

- Experience working with at-risk, alternative, virtual, or personalized learning environments preferred
- Strong relationship-building and mentoring skills
- Knowledge of mastery-based learning and differentiated instruction
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to student-centered learning and continuous improvement
