Job Summary
Develop expertise in designated alternative investments while providing comprehensive support to the Investor community for JPMorgan's private equity, hedge, and real estate funds. Cultivate and manage relationships with external hedge and private equity funds and their administrators. Oversee subscription, redemption, and transfer instructions to fund administrators, and facilitate capital calls and distributions for private equity funds. Process and book alternative investment transactions, assist in pricing and reconciliation of fund positions, and generate ad-hoc reports for senior management. This role sits within the Trading Services team in the Americas, where the alternative investment segment manages over $100 billion in assets.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Strong understanding of sophisticated financial products
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment with tight deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal and business communication skills
- Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic
- Team player capable of succeeding in a dynamic 'trading desk' environment
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in alternative investments or related operations
- Series 99 or Series 7 certification
