Job Summary
Oversee the entire investment performance data cycle, from collection to quality review and report creation for alternative and specialty assets. Maintain Addepar platform accuracy by supporting configuration, calculations, and resolving advisor inquiries and escalations. Track, manage, and resolve field inquiries while investigating performance outliers and reconciling capital activity across manager statements, custodian feeds, and internal systems. Train advisors on reporting systems and develop metrics to analyze incident trends and identify workflow improvements. Coordinate with fund managers, custodians, and vendors to obtain data and documentation, ensuring adherence to operating procedures and data integrity standards.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Finance, Mathematics, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field
- 2–5+ years of experience across investment operations, performance reporting, alternative investment operations, reconciliation, portfolio accounting, or wealth management operations
- Experience managing financial accounts, reconciliation, and performance reporting cycles
- Prior experience with alternative investment operations and alternative investment reporting, including supporting private equity, hedge funds, private credit, real estate investments, and other non-traditional investment products
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and Excel skills
- Experience with portfolio accounting, reporting, and data management platforms
- Knowledge of alternative investment products, structures, cash flow events, and performance reporting
- Ability to perform complex reconciliations and ensure data accuracy across multiple systems
- Experience with data quality controls, exception management, and operational reporting
- Understanding of portfolio reporting concepts, benchmarks, market data, and investment terminology
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to data integrity
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders
- Self-motivated, intellectually curious, and able to thrive both independently and in a team-oriented environment
Desired Qualifications
- Prior client service experience within the financial industry, or equivalent experience, preferred
- Familiarity with platforms such as Addepar, Tamarac, iCapital, Mirador, Arch, or similar investment reporting systems preferred
