Job Summary
Conduct daily journal entry reviews within Investran and prepare fund-level financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flows. Calculate fees, manage capital calls and distributions, and review fund agreements to determine reporting impacts. Assign work, perform detailed reviews, and provide guidance to support the audit process. Monitor current processes to identify efficiency improvements and escalate issues to managers proactively. Participate in special projects for internal initiatives and external clients while maintaining strict deadlines in high-pressure situations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's / Master's degree in Accounting / ICWA / CA / MBA / CPA
- Minimum 4 years of accounting experience in private equity or hedge fund accounting
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) and accounting software
- Ability to function in high-pressure situations and meet strict deadlines consistently
- Attention to detail
- Innovative and analytical thinking with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Team player instincts with the ability to see a project to conclusion with little follow-up
- Superb sense of client service with ability to appropriately exercise professional skepticism and judgment
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with various private equity legal and investment structures
- Familiarity with various waterfall models
- Experience using partnership accounting applications (e.g. Investran)
