Job Summary
Manage all aspects of Transportation Alternative Delivery projects, including scope, budget, and schedule, while leading support staff and document production. Develop and maintain client relations with local design-build contractors, design teaming partners, and municipal clients such as WashDOT. Participate in business development activities including proposal preparation, teaming arrangements, and marketing new projects. This role supports the growth of Dewberry's transportation practice in the West region, with potential to lead a new Seattle office. A BS in Civil/Transportation Engineering and 15+ years of progressive experience are required, along with a Washington or California PE license.
Required Qualifications
- BS degree in Civil/Transportation Engineering
- 15+ years of progressive experience working on transportation infrastructure projects
- 10+ years of experience as a Design Manager delivering alternative delivery and design-build projects
- Washington or California PE license required
- Knowledge of design-build teaming and professional services agreements
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong leadership and project management skills
- Effective client management skills
