Job Summary
Monitor and document clients' self-administration of medications while ensuring safe medication practices. Monitor clients' physical health needs and coordinate acute medical care with direct care staff as needed. Facilitate health and wellness groups and activities that promote recovery and overall well-being. Deliver strength-based, solution-focused nursing interventions and support individuals in developing Wellness Recovery Action Plans (WRAP) and safety plans. Complete assigned clinical documentation and participate in required trainings to support high-quality care. Alternating weekends (every other weekend), Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Part-time, 16 hours.
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound clinical judgment, and provide compassionate, high-quality care
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, Associate, or Bachelor's degree)
Desired Qualifications
- One year of experience in an acute mental health and/or co-occurring disorders setting preferred
- Familiarity with recovery oriented treatment approaches for individuals with severe mental illness preferred
