Job Summary
Conduct behavioral and functional modeling of transmission organs, specifically belts, focusing on energy efficiency studies regarding losses from slip, shear, and flexion. Develop internal sizing process models and friction laws to support industry deployment, then program these simulations into software tools. Execute experimental measurements and numerical simulations through designed experiments to validate proposed models. This internship supports Hutchinson's Belt Drive System division in designing and commercializing complex power transmission systems for transport, energy, and industrial sectors.
Required Qualifications
