Job Summary
Manage all alterations, fittings, sewing, steaming, pressing, and spot cleaning of garments to company standards while maintaining quality control guidelines to verify pristine condition before delivery. Greet and escort customers to appointments, assist stylists in closing sales by consulting on gown fit, and resolve customer service issues swiftly. Process special orders, ensure accurate pricing, and maintain inventory management standards. Keep the alterations room clean and organized while supporting cash wrap behaviors and POS transactions. Perform duties as assigned by store management, including occasional standing, walking, and lifting up to 10 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent degree
- 1-2 years prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment
- Prior sewing experience required
- Prior experience in a bridal and/or special occasion production environment
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system is a plus
