Job Summary
Manage all alterations, fittings, sewing, steaming, pressing, and spot cleaning of garments to company standards while maintaining quality control guidelines. Greet and escort alterations customers to and from appointments, then resolve service issues swiftly and effectively. Maintain inventory by processing special orders and ensure alteration pricing meets company standards. Support cash wrap behaviors with accurate transactions and keep the alterations room clean and organized. Welcome customers via phone, virtual chats, and in person to deliver a five-star experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent degree
- 1-2 years prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment
- Prior sewing experience required
- Prior experience in a bridal and/or special occasion production environment
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system is a plus
