Job Summary
Alterations Specialists are responsible for completing all fittings and alterations to high standards, providing friendly, knowledgeable, and technical expertise, and delivering five-star customer service. Daily duties include welcoming customers, managing multiple fittings, promoting alteration services, assisting stylists with gown fit and customization, maintaining the alterations room and shop standards, processing orders and transactions accurately, and ensuring garments meet quality criteria before delivery. Requires sewing experience, attention to dress quality, and ability to use POS systems in a retail bridal environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment
- Prior sewing experience required, preferably in bridal and/or special occasion production environment
- Prior experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system is a plus
