Job Summary
Manage all alterations, fittings, and sewing, steaming, pressing, and spot cleaning of garments to company standards while maintaining quality control guidelines to verify pristine condition before delivery. Greet and escort customers to appointments, use all systems to manage customer flow, and resolve service issues swiftly by escalating concerns when necessary. Assist stylists in closing sales by consulting on gown fit and customization, process special orders, and ensure alteration pricing meets company standards. Maintain the alterations room, support cash wrap behaviors, and uphold dress code policies. Requires prior sewing experience, ability to lift up to 10 pounds, and proficiency with POS systems.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent degree
- 1-2 years prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment
- Prior sewing experience required
- Prior experience in a bridal and/or special occasion production environment
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system is a plus
