Job Summary
Welcome customers via phone, virtual chats, and in-person interactions, adapting styles to solve problems and resolve conflicts. Manage customer flow using store systems to deliver a five-star experience while greeting, escorting, and pressing garments for alterations appointments. Inspect all altered and steamed merchandise against quality control guidelines before final delivery. Support inventory management by processing special orders and pickups, and maintain store standards including cleanliness, organization, and promotional readiness. Escalate unresolved issues to the Alterations Manager and partner with leadership to ensure customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent degree
- 1-2 years prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment
- Prior experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system
Desired Qualifications
- Prior sewing experience is helpful
