Job Summary
Welcome and service alterations customers via phone, virtual chats, and in person while managing appointments and resolving conflicts. Greet and escort customers to and from fittings, then press, steam, and spot clean garments. Inspect altered items for quality control before delivery, maintain a clean alterations room, and support inventory management for special orders and pickups. Process transactions with accuracy, promote alterations services, and escalate unresolved issues to the Alterations Manager. Maintain store standards and dress code policies while adapting solutions to meet customer emotional and practical needs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent degree
- 1-2 years prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment
- Prior experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system
Desired Qualifications
- Prior sewing experience is helpful
