Job Summary
Welcome customers over the phone, via virtual chats, and in person with genuine enthusiasm, then manage customer flow to deliver a five-star experience. Greet and escort alterations clients to and from appointments, answering phones, making bookings, and resolving conflicts while adapting styles to suit individual needs. Press, steam, and spot clean merchandise, inspect garments for quality control before delivery, and maintain a clean, organized alterations room. Process special orders, pick-ups, and POS transactions with accuracy, support inventory management, and promote alterations services and personalization options. Escalate unresolved issues to the Alterations Manager and uphold store standards for promotional readiness and dress code compliance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent degree
- 1-2 years prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment
- Prior experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system
Desired Qualifications
- Prior sewing experience is helpful
