Job Summary
Welcome customers with genuine enthusiasm over the phone, virtual chats, and in person, while managing appointment schedules and resolving conflicts. Press, steam, and spot clean garments, then inspect altered items for quality control before delivery. Escort alterations clients to and from appointments, promote personalization options, and maintain a clean, organized alterations room. Process special orders, support inventory management, and handle cash wrap transactions with accuracy. Escalate unresolved issues to the Alterations Manager and adhere to store standards for promotional readiness and dress code compliance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent degree
- 1-2 years prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment
- Prior experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system
Desired Qualifications
- Prior sewing experience is helpful
