Job Summary
Welcome customers via phone, virtual chats, and in person while managing appointment schedules and resolving conflicts. Press, steam, and spot clean garments, then inspect alterations for quality control before delivery. Escort clients to and from fittings and escort them to alterations rooms. Process special orders, pickups, and POS transactions to support inventory management and cash wrap accuracy. Maintain store standards including cleanliness, organization, and promotional readiness. Escalate unresolved customer issues to the Alterations Manager.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent degree
- 1-2 years prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment
- Prior experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system
Desired Qualifications
- Prior sewing experience is helpful
