Job Summary
Alterations CSR is a critical role in delivering a five-star customer experience in the Alterations department. Responsibilities include welcoming and servicing customers over phone, virtual chats, and in person; managing customer flow with systems to deliver top service; scheduling appointments; pressing garments and ensuring items are ready for pickup; promoting alterations services and personalization options; maintaining store standards and executing quality control on altered/steamed/pressed garments; handling transactions at POS and supporting inventory and special orders; building customer relationships and coordinating with the Alterations Manager to resolve issues.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment
- Prior sewing experience is helpful
- Prior experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system
