Job Summary
Welcome customers with genuine enthusiasm over the phone, virtual chats, and in person, managing appointments and resolving conflicts while adapting styles to suit individual needs. Press, steam, and spot clean garments, inspecting altered items for quality control before delivery, and escort clients to and from alterations. Maintain a clean, organized alterations room and support inventory management by processing special orders and pickups. Communicate clearly how alterations perfect the dress, promote personalization options, and ensure flawless store standards including promotional readiness. Greet and escort all alterations customers, perform duties as assigned by store management, and escalate unresolved issues to the Alterations Manager.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent degree
- 1-2 years prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment
- Prior experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system
Desired Qualifications
- Prior sewing experience is helpful
