Job Summary
The Alterations Customer Service Representative (CSR) delivers an A+ customer experience in the Alterations department, welcoming and servicing customers, scheduling and managing appointments, pressing/steaming garments, and ensuring items are ready for pickup. The role involves assisting multiple customers simultaneously, guiding customers on alterations and personalization options, using POS to process transactions, maintaining an organized alterations area, supporting inventory and special orders, and upholding store standards and dress-code policies while building lasting customer relationships. Strong communication, problem-solving, and the ability to adapt to customer needs across in-person, phone, and virtual channels are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years prior retail experience in apparel or specialty store environment
- Prior sewing experience helpful
- Prior experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system
