Job Summary
Welcome and service alterations customers via phone, virtual chats, and in-person interactions, managing appointments and resolving conflicts with clear communication. Press, steam, and spot clean garments while inspecting items for quality control before delivery, and escort clients to and from fittings. Maintain a clean, organized alterations room and support inventory by processing special orders and pickups. Promote alterations services and personalization options to ensure customers feel celebrated. This role requires minimal weekday hours, with a focus on weekend availability.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent degree
- 1-2 years prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment
- Prior experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system
Desired Qualifications
- Prior sewing experience is helpful
