Job Summary
Welcome customers with genuine enthusiasm via phone, virtual chats, and in-person interactions while resolving conflicts and adapting styles to suit individual needs. Manage customer flow, press, steam, and spot clean merchandise, then inspect garments for quality control before delivery. Escort alterations clients to and from appointments, process special orders and pickups, and maintain a clean, organized alterations room. Address customer concerns proactively, escalate unresolved issues to the Alterations Manager, and uphold store standards including dress code and promotional readiness.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent degree
- 1-2 years prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment
- Prior experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system
Desired Qualifications
- Prior sewing experience is helpful
