Job Summary
Welcome and service alterations customers via phone, virtual chats, and in-person interactions while managing appointments and resolving conflicts. Press, steam, and spot clean merchandise, then inspect garments for quality control before delivery. Escort clients to and from fittings, process special orders and pickups, and maintain a clean, organized alterations room. Support inventory management, cash wrap transactions, and store standards to ensure flawless service. This role requires minimal weekday hours, focusing on weekend availability with competitive hourly pay ranging from $15 to $19.80. Prior retail experience and sewing skills are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent degree
- 1-2 years prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment
- Prior experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system
Desired Qualifications
- Prior sewing experience is helpful
