Job Summary
Welcome all customers via phone, virtual chats, and in person with genuine enthusiasm, clearly adapting styles to suit their needs. Manage customer flow using store systems to deliver a five-star experience while proactively addressing concerns and escalating issues when necessary. Press, steam, and spot clean merchandise; inspect altered garments for quality control before delivery. Escort customers to appointments, process transactions accurately at the POS, and support inventory management for special orders and pickups. Maintain a clean, organized alterations room and adhere to store standards and dress code policies. Report to the Store Manager and partner with the Alterations team to perfect dresses for events.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent degree
- 1-2 years prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment
- Prior experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system
Desired Qualifications
- Prior sewing experience is helpful
