Job Summary
Welcome all customers with genuine enthusiasm via phone, virtual chats, and in person, while managing appointment schedules and resolving conflicts. Press, steam, and spot clean garments, then inspect altered items for quality control before delivery. Escort clients to and from alterations, promote service options, and maintain a clean, organized alterations room and store standards. Process special orders, manage inventory pick-ups, and handle cash wrap transactions accurately. Escalate unresolved issues to the Alterations Manager and adhere to dress code and POS system requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent degree
- 1-2 years prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment
- Prior experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system
Desired Qualifications
- Prior sewing experience is helpful
