Job Summary
Alterations Customer Service Representative (CSR) supports the Alterations department at David’s Bridal by delivering an A+ customer experience. Responsibilities include welcoming and assisting customers in person, over the phone and via virtual chats; scheduling and managing appointments; pressing, steaming and spot-cleaning garments; ensuring items are ready for pickup; promoting Alterations services and personalization options; processing transactions accurately at the POS; maintaining store standards and assisting with inventory and special orders; and collaborating with the Alterations Manager to resolve customer issues while building long-term customer relationships.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store environment
- Prior sewing experience is helpful
- Prior experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system
