Job Summary
Welcome customers via phone, virtual chats, and in person with genuine enthusiasm, managing appointment schedules and resolving conflicts to deliver a five-star experience. Press, steam, and spot clean garments while inspecting altered items for quality control before delivery. Escort clients to and from alterations, promote personalization options, and maintain store standards including cleanliness and promotional readiness. Process transactions accurately, support inventory management for special orders and pickups, and escalate unresolved issues to the Alterations Manager. Maintain a clean alterations room and adhere to all dress code policies while performing duties as assigned by store management.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent degree
- 1-2 years prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment
- Prior experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system
Desired Qualifications
- Prior sewing experience is helpful
