Job Summary
Welcome customers via phone, virtual chats, and in-person interactions while managing appointment schedules and resolving conflicts. Greet and escort alterations clients to and from fittings, then press, steam, and spot clean garments to ensure pristine condition before delivery. Support inventory by processing special orders and pickups, while maintaining store standards for cleanliness, organization, and promotional readiness. Adhere to strict dress code policies and escalate unresolved issues to the Alterations Manager. Perform duties as assigned by store management, including using POS terminals and handling cash wrap transactions with accuracy.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent degree
- 1-2 years prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment
- Prior experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system
Desired Qualifications
- Prior sewing experience is helpful
