Job Summary
Alterations Customer Service Representative delivering an A+ customer experience in the Alterations department. Responsibilities include welcoming and servicing customers in person/phone/virtual chats, managing appointments, pressing garments, ensuring items are ready for pickup, promoting alterations services and personalization options, handling transactions, maintaining store standards and promotional readiness, and supporting inventory and quality control. Requires strong communication, problem-solving, and customer-service skills with the ability to operate POS terminals and assist customers throughout their alterations journey.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent degree
- 1-2 years prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment
- Prior sewing experience is helpful
- Prior experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system
