Job Summary
Welcome and service alterations customers via phone, virtual chats, and in-person interactions while greeting, escorting, and managing appointments. Press, steam, spot clean, and inspect garments to ensure pristine condition before delivery, maintaining store standards and a clean alterations room. Resolve customer concerns, promote personalization options, and process transactions with accuracy using POS systems. Support inventory management for special orders and pickups, escalating unresolved issues to the Alterations Manager as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent degree
- 1-2 years prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment
- Prior experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system
Desired Qualifications
- Prior sewing experience is helpful
