Job Summary
Alterations Customer Service Representative (CSR) in the David’s Bridal Alterations department. Responsibilities include welcoming and servicing customers in person, over the phone, and via virtual chats; managing customer flow to deliver five-star service; scheduling appointments; pressing garments; ensuring items are ready for pickup; promoting alterations services and personalization options; maintaining store standards; assisting with inventory and checkout processes using POS; resolving customer concerns and knowing when to escalate to leadership; and building long-term customer relationships to drive satisfaction and loyalty. Requires excellent communication, problem-solving, and ability to handle multiple customers simultaneously, with prior retail experience and basic sewing/alterations knowledge being helpful.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store
- Prior sewing experience helpful
- POS (Point of Sale) system experience
