Job Summary
Welcome and service alterations customers via phone, virtual chats, and in person while managing appointment schedules and resolving conflicts. Press, steam, and spot clean garments, then inspect them for quality control before delivery. Escort clients to and from fittings, process special orders and pickups, and maintain a clean, organized alterations room. Support inventory management and cash wrap transactions with accuracy. Escalate unresolved issues to the Alterations Manager and uphold store standards and dress code policies. Perform duties as assigned by store management.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent degree
- 1-2 years prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment
- Prior experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system
Desired Qualifications
- Prior sewing experience is helpful
