Alteration Specialist

Educate Retail teams on garment fit, proportion, balance, and movement while building awareness of body morphology and posture. Train colleagues on basic pinning techniques, including correct placement, garment handling, and client safety. Develop technical knowledge of fabrics, materials, and their response to alteration, helping teams understand construction limits. Provide clear guidance on when to conduct pinning versus escalating requests to Alterations specialists. Establish a shared fitting vocabulary and clearer handover processes between Retail, Alterations, and Les Ateliers. Deliver ongoing coaching, fitting clinics, and in-the-moment support to embed knowledge in daily practice.
