Job Summary
Review transactions in the ETRM system to verify accurate execution against approved limits and create or validate trade confirmations for counterparties. Analyze discrepancies between incoming confirmations and commercial team data, manage new customer onboarding, and maintain vendor master records. Collaborate with Middle Office teams on reporting impacts, assist in system implementation and testing, and participate in process improvement and documentation projects. Leverage AI technology to enhance efficiency while adhering to SOX controls and trade compliance policies. This role supports the energy trading contracts process at AltaGas, a North American infrastructure company serving over 1.7 million customers.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years previous experience in the energy industry
- Post-secondary degree or equivalent experience
- Strong computer skills
- Experience in working through details of a problem, overcoming obstacles and reaching a positive and successful solution using strong analytical skills and an attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and balance fluctuating workload
- Experience dealing with commercial representatives in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of SOX controls performance demands
- Strong communication skills

- Experience with an ETRM software platform is an asset
