Job Summary
Production Technician III at AltaGas in Blythe, CA responsible for all phases of plant operations in a 520 MW natural gas-fired combined-cycle station. Rotating 12-hour shifts; duties include prioritizing operations for equipment reliability, ensuring compliance with safety/environmental policies, following processes for safe/efficient operations, assisting with daily plant dispatch, performing routine watch inspections, diagnosing equipment, and suggesting continuous improvement projects. Must adhere to Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, and PPE safety rules, and work as part of a team on operations and maintenance tasks. Requires electrical, mechanical, or I&C skills, a High School/GED, and 3-5 years of relevant experience; Control Room Operator experience is a plus. Salary offered at $47.06/hour with comprehensive benefits; U.S. hires subject to equal opportunity policies.
