Job Summary
Senior VP-level product engineer and technical leader responsible for end-to-end delivery of Python-based SDKs/APIs powering investment research and alpha generation; own technical vision, roadmap, and delivery; lead engineering standards; mentor junior engineers; leverage AI-assisted development; collaborate with researchers, product managers, platform teams; build AI-ready, scalable data/analytics platform for investment research and strategy; engage with investment teams; cloud-native, distributed systems, data storage (Iceberg/Delta Lake), and GenAI tooling; hybrid work model with in-office and remote days.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience building platforms, SDKs, APIs, or quant research tooling
- Strong Python skills with experience building APIs and scalable workflows
- Experience designing and operating cloud-native platforms, distributed systems, or modern analytics platforms
- Strong architecture judgment for usable product interfaces
- Deep understanding of data storage formats (Iceberg, Delta Lake) and cloud storage (Azure)
- Experience with Spark, Ray, or Dask
- Knowledge of cloud-native development (Azure preferred)
- Experience with or exposure to LLM/GenAI-enabled workflows
- Leadership and mentoring abilities
- Strong interpersonal skills and collaboration with researchers and investment stakeholders
