Job Summary
Alpha Data Operations Senior Specialist role focused on ensuring timely and accurate data delivery to clients, acting as a data operations SME, performing root cause analysis of data issues, supporting testing and post-production transition, contributing to data product enhancements, and collaborating with Alpha Data Implementation, Service Management and IT teams to share best practices and improve global processes. Responsibilities include overseeing live data processes, ensuring data quality and timely delivery, and applying analytical and technical skills (SQL, market data knowledge) to drive process improvements in a multinational financial services environment.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in Data Management, Finance, Business or equivalent
- Typically 3–5 years of industry experience across Financial Services or Data fields
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
- SQL knowledge, hands-on experience with database/data warehouse
- Bloomberg and/or other market data vendors knowledge
- Knowledge of financial instruments from static data perspective
- Strong technical skills in SQL and database design
- Experience leading meetings across IT, Middle Office, Data Operations, Implementation
- Familiarity with Agile methodology and tools (JIRA, Rally, RTC) is a plus
- Strong communication and English language skills (written and verbal)
- Good teamwork and ethics
