Job Summary
ALM Model Development Internship at ING focused on developing and maintaining asset-liability management models. Responsibilities include data input, model calibration, scenario analysis, collaboration on behavioural models, sensitivity analysis, stress testing, results analysis, and preparing presentations/reports for internal stakeholders. Ideal candidates are in the final year of Econometrics/Quantitative Finance/Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Science, hold student status throughout the internship, and are studying at a Dutch university. Requires familiarity with financial modelling techniques, strong Python coding skills, and excellent communication. Hybrid work arrangement in Amsterdam, Netherlands, with an internship duration of at least 6 months and an internship allowance of 700 EUR based on a 36-hour work week.
Required Qualifications
- Currently in the final year of pursuing a degree in Econometrics, Quantitative Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or a related field
- Must hold student status throughout the duration of the internship
- Available for at least 6 months
- Studying at a Dutch University (EU/Non-EU visa restrictions apply)
- Familiar with financial modelling techniques
- Proficient in coding, preferably Python
- Excellent in written and verbal communication skills
