Job Summary
ALM Consultant responsible for delivering strategic financial risk management solutions to clients. Independently build and maintain client relationships to foster long-term partnerships, produce, interpret, and deliver comprehensive financial risk management reports, and guide clients in understanding risk positions while providing strategic insights on balance sheet management and overall financial strategy. Proficient in fixed income securities, loan valuation, cash flow modeling and prepayment analysis, with strong Excel and Power Platform skills. Travel to client sites and deliver presentations as needed (less than 10%). Demonstrates excellent communication, analytical, and organizational abilities, and holds a bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, or related field with 5+ years of experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field
- minimum of 5+ years of relevant financial experience
- Expertise in fixed income securities, loan valuation, cash flow modeling and prepayment analysis
- Solid foundation in accounting principles and economic theory
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (lookups, pivot tables, formula creation)
- Understanding of Power Platform tools (Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate) or Azure database experience
- Competency in other Microsoft Office applications
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
- Organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Travel to client sites for visits and presentations (<10%)
