Job Summary
Execute store and size-level allocations for Apparel and Accessories categories across all domestic U.S. and Canada Skechers retail locations. Monitor inventory levels, manage size breaks and pack strategies to optimize sell-through, and set up model stock replenishment for basic/core items. Analyze sales and inventory trends at the chain, store cluster, and individual store level to drive maximum performance, while conducting pre-season, in-season, and post-season analysis. Partner with Merchandise Planning, Buying, and the Retail Field Team to align buy quantities, communicate seasonal rollouts, and resolve inventory discrepancies. Identify opportunities to improve allocation systems and processes, and investigate stockouts, overstock situations, and variances between physical counts and system records.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1–3 years of experience in allocation, replenishment, merchandise planning, or a related inventory management role
- Strong aptitude for numbers with solid retail math skills and an understanding of forecasting methodology
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including: VLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH, SUMIF, IF statements, and Pivot Tables
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret quantitative and qualitative data into actionable insights
- Solid understanding of financial measurements and how allocation decisions impact them
- Agile and adaptable — able to pivot quickly based on shifting business needs and calendar milestones
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across departments
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of retail allocation systems (e.g., Aptos) is a plus
