Job Summary
Allocation Analyst responsible for determining ideal merchandise profiles and allocating inventory to Laura Canada’s stores to meet financial objectives. Duties include analyzing weekly store performance and inventory levels, developing analysis tools with other departments, allocating new arrivals based on assortment plans and store needs, reviewing styles performance weekly, replenishing sold goods, reviewing transfer opportunities in-season, and collaborating with Planning, Buying, and Allocation teams on repeat orders and assortment strategies. Requires strong Excel skills, knowledge of merchandise systems, data analysis abilities, and excellent communication.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration / commerce or related field is an asset
- Experience in retail is an asset
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of Merchandise Systems is an asset
- Ability to analyze and understand quantitative data
- Strong prioritization skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
