Job Summary
Provide clinical and administrative support to physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and nursing staff as required. Actively monitor the environment to ensure patient and staff safety while supervising patients in exercise routines, gait activities, and daily living tasks. Assist with patient transfers, dressing, and showering in hydrotherapy, and identify client circumstances needing additional allied health input for clinical handover. Comply with hospital policies and participate in staff education and research programs as appropriate. This casual role offers flexible weekday and weekend shifts with a salary of $40.06 to $40.93 per hour plus superannuation.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance (or equivalent)
- Ability to follow instructions, policies, and procedures effectively
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to relate to others in a sensitive and professional manner
- Commitment to completing a Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance
- Vaccination from Influenza
