Job Summary
Manage the Home Enteral Nutrition (HEN) Program by handling patient registration, ordering, confirming deliveries, liaising with suppliers, and maintaining the HEN database. Conduct nutrition screening per established procedures and assist the treating Dietitian with implementing and monitoring prescribed nutrition care plans, including discharge planning support. Prepare patient education materials, resources, and handouts as directed, while supporting basic nutrition education within your scope of practice. Collect nutrition-related data and complete clinical and service audits to ensure accurate reporting. This role supports Dietitians and nursing staff in a 307-bed public hospital providing emergency, critical care, and maternity services. You will hold a Cert III in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent experience.
Required Qualifications
- Cert III in Allied Health Assistance
- suitable experience in a similar position
- currently completing tertiary study in an Allied Health discipline
- highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
