Job Summary
Develop and implement the organization's strategic plan while advising the Board of Directors on strategic, financial, and institutional matters. Lead a multidisciplinary management team overseeing education, culture, finance, philanthropy, marketing, human resources, and operations across three locations in Vancouver, Victoria, and New Westminster. Manage the annual budget, forecast financial performance, oversee grant applications, and present key performance indicators to the Board. Serve as the principal spokesperson with municipal, provincial, and federal governments, advocating for Francophone communities and the cultural sector. Ensure compliance with governance best practices, regulatory requirements, and risk management policies.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Governance, Public Policy, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of senior executive leadership experience
- Significant experience within a nonprofit organization, cultural institution, educational institution, or public sector organization
- Demonstrated expertise in financial management and organizational development
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams
- Experience managing facilities and real estate assets
- Experience in government relations and partnership development
- Professional fluency in both French and English, written and spoken
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate degree (MBA, Master's degree, or equivalent)
- Knowledge of the Alliance Française network, French as a Foreign Language (FLE), and the Francophone cultural sector
