Job Summary
Conduct initial patient interviews following physician referrals, administering quality allergy testing and formulating immunotherapy regimens. Schedule and manage ongoing immunotherapy appointments while documenting progress in the electronic Medical Record. Maintain allergy supplies, order department stock, and ensure compliance with the Allergy Policy Manual. Keep testing sets and dip trays organized, update staff vaccination records, and maintain an up-to-date ER kit. Ensure a physician is always present during clinic operations and notify the supervisor of any patient care or equipment issues.
Required Qualifications
- High School education or GED equivalent
- Ability to work in a relatively unsupervised environment with a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to think clearly in stressful situations and respond quickly
- The ability to attend work on a regular basis
- The ability to adhere to safety rules and other reasonable regulations pertaining to the job
- The ability to refrain from negativity or excessive irritability
