Allergy Physician

Allergy Physician (Allergist-Immunologist) sought to diagnose, treat, and manage adult patients with allergic, immunologic, and respiratory conditions. Responsibilities include evaluating and managing disorders such as asthma, allergic rhinitis, food allergies, eczema, urticaria, and anaphylaxis; performing and interpreting diagnostic tests (skin prick testing, patch testing, spirometry, pulmonary function tests); developing individualized treatment plans including immunotherapy (allergy shots) and biologic therapies; managing acute reactions and providing emergency treatment when needed; monitoring progress, adjusting treatment plans, educating patients and families on allergen avoidance and medication use; maintaining accurate medical records in compliance with regulatory standards; and collaborating with primary care providers, pulmonologists, dermatologists, and other specialists while staying current with advancements in allergy/immunology through continuing medical education. Location is Richmond, VA (US) with typical in-person patient care; remote work not indicated. This role is full-time with partner-track potential and provides a comprehensive benefits package.
