Job Summary
Allergy/Immunology Nurse Practitioner provides advanced clinical care for allergic and immunologic conditions, including evaluation, diagnosis, and management. Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessments, diagnosing and managing allergies/asthma/food allergies/eczema/immune deficiencies, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests including allergy skin testing, developing individualized treatment plans, prescribing medications, administering immunotherapy injections, educating patients and families on disease management and emergency plans, monitoring outcomes, maintaining medical documentation in EHR, and participating in quality improvement and continuing education.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in accredited NP program
- Active New York State NP license
- 1-2 years of relevant experience or willingness to training directly in allergy/immunology
