Job Summary
Full-time Allergist faculty position affiliated with Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst. Diagnose, treat and manage a full spectrum of allergic conditions and immune disorders; start with a built-in referral base and help grow the allergy service line. Faculty appointment commensurate with credentials and experience. Opportunities for teaching, research and program development within an academic medical setting; strong emphasis on patient-centered care for an urban, ethnically diverse, underserved population. Requires MD/DO, fellowship in Allergy/Immunology, and board certification in Otolaryngology with NY license, DEA, and Medicaid number. Compensation starts at $250,000 per year plus faculty practice distributions; comprehensive health benefits and generous PTO.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO degree
- completed a fellowship in Allergy/Immunology
- board certified in Otolaryngology
- valid New York State license
- DEA and Medicaid number
- strong interest in research and clinical operations
- teaching experience
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- prior academic medical center and/or public health systems experience preferred
