Job Summary
Operate paste delivery, utility, seamer, depalletizer, and diced tomato pumping equipment while performing ingredient weighing tasks as directed. Maintain a clean and orderly work area during downtime, sweep floors, and monitor food safety and quality plans. Adhere to all Red Gold policies, GMPs, and safety procedures, reporting any issues to management. Work as a team player across the processing crew, handling pressure and multi-tasking to cover all job functions. Schedule requires 45-60 hours weekly with occasional overtime to cover absenteeism and Fresh Pack requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, General Educational Development Diploma (GED) or equivalent experience
- Must be able to understand and carry out basic instructions while performing manual labor related tasks
- Must be able to successfully use basic, math, writing, and reading skills necessary to complete the required paperwork and projects
- Must be trainable to do all jobs in the processing area
- Able to work 45-60 hours/week with occasional overtime to cover for absenteeism and Fresh Pack requirements
- Must be able to lift items as heavy as 50 pounds
- Able to see near and far distances
