Job Summary
Direct patient care and diagnostic imaging across multiple imaging modalities in Mercy Health’s Toledo market. Performs radiologic procedures with attention to patient safety, proper positioning, image quality, and documentation. Requires verification of patient identity, consent, and history; ability to explain procedures; administer contrast media as needed; perform IV injections; monitor patient condition; ensure radiation protection; participate in quality control, performance improvement and education of students and new staff. Procedures may encompass specialty exam areas (e.g., surgery, C-arm, tomograms, venograms, arthrograms, myelograms, ERCP, sialograms, hysterosalpingogram) and general radiology practices including lead markers, proper lead shielding, and appropriate exam repeat rate.
Required Qualifications
- Vocational/ Technical Degree in Radiology Technology
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
- Current license in the state of Ohio
- Current BLS certification
