Job Summary
Perform and certify heavy and line maintenance on company aircraft, including B300 King Airs, while adhering to Canadian Aviation Regulations. Mentor apprentice engineers and provide clear direction on maintenance procedures and manuals. Submit applications for review when suitable opportunities arise, as active openings may not be currently available. This role offers a strong rotation schedule supporting work-life balance for licensed AMEs seeking career growth within Carson Air's air ambulance and freight services across Western Canada.
Required Qualifications
- Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License M1
- AME licence
- aviation experience
- passion for aircraft maintenance
- Understanding of the Canadian Aviation Regulations as it pertains to an AME
- Positive attitude with strong work ethic
- Flexibility with work schedules
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with the Internet
- Good communication with ability to give clear direction
- Good understanding of the English Language with the ability to read, understand and follow instructions contained within Aircraft Manuals and Publications as it relates to Aircraft Maintenance
